Story

us a café brimming with healthy, delicious,
gourmet foods perfect for your breakfast, lunch,
or snacking needs. FRAME Gourmet Eatery, on West
33rd Street and west of Ninth Avenue, fills the
gap for New Yorkers on the go. Open from 6 a.m.
to 6 p.m., Café FRAME provides a welcome respite
from the daily grind of the busy streets.
With a tempting assortment of pastries and
breakfast dishes, and a gourmet coffee and
espresso bar, Café FRAME is a perfect spot to
grab a quick breakfast or mid-morning snack. For
lunch, Café FRAME offers a wide variety of
seasonal soups, tossed and chopped salads, cold
and hot signature sandwiches, and gourmet market
tables, with a bibimbap, udon, and hand-rolled
sushi counter. Each ingredient is hand-selected,

Design
The design of the space realizes the energizing
effects of framing out a part of your day to
nourish yourself both mentally and physically.
The straight-forward materials and planning
reflect the simple quality of the food served,
creating an overall aesthetic that is clean,
comfortable, and accommodating. Polished white
subway tile, a charcoal-colored floor and sleek
stainless steel are framed by the warmth of
natural pine planking. A clear approach to the
layout is achieved by framing each zone, be it
the sandwich bar or the market table, for
maximum ease and efficiency. The large,
high-ceilinged space is bathed in light from
double-story windows. The open counters and
relaxed atmosphere triggers interaction and
conversation, feeding both the mind and the
body.
On its black and white background, the signature
color of bright lavender is the perfect accent,
reminding customers of the clarity and freshness
of the ingredients they are consuming. The
feminine, elegant graphics add a lighthearted
